  • Glasgow Short Film Festival - This year's Glasgow Short Film Festival shines a spotlight on Lebanese short cinema, illuminating the country’s historical, cultural and geographical positioning across two programmes of shorts and a live performance from Beirut-based gender-defying queer dancer Khansa, a retrospective of award-winning artist duo Bárbara Wagner and Benjamin de Burca, wild world-building animations and cinematic existentialism through innovative AI collaborations and two very different journeys to Scotland undertaken for COP26.
  • Aye, Write! - Glasgow's Book Festival
  • Glasgow Music Festival - Glasgow Music Festival is an annual festival of music, speech, drama and dance first held in 1911. Each year around 7,000 performers take part in the festival which takes place in March. The next Festival will run from 14 March until 21 March 2020.
  • Dardishi - Dardishi is a community-focused zine and arts Festival that showcases Arab and North African womxn’s* contributions to contemporary art and culture. Dardishi Festival first took place on International Women’s Day weekend, 8 – 10 March 2019, at the Centre for Contemporary Arts Glasgow, UK.
  • Country to Country - C2C: Country to Country is Europe's biggest country music festival created by AEG Europe and SJM Concerts in association with the Country Music Association. The festival takes place each March in London, Glasgow and Dublin, with three days of the best in country music and programming. Performances come from the world’s best country stars as well as emerging talent from Nashville, UK and Europe.

  • Satellite 7 - Satellite 7 is the latest in a series of science fiction conventions with a strong science element that have been running in Glasgow since 2007. Each event has a different theme: this time we celebrate the planet Jupiter, in Art Deco / Rocketpunk style. Come and join us for a fun-filled weekend of talks, panel discussions, workshops and games.
  • Glasgow Contemporary Art Fair - This annual event appeals to those curious about contemporary art, the first time buyer, the art lover and the serious collector as a superb range of exhibitors, including art galleries and professional artists from across the UK, present a stunning range of art to view and buy with prices ranging from £50 to around £25,000.
  • National Whisky Festival - Since being founded in 2015, The National Whisky Festival of Scotland has established itself as one of the most exciting exhibitions of uisge-beatha - growing from a single tasting into a popular series of festivals across the country.

  • Merchant City Festival (Facebook) - A festival of street theatre, music, dance, circus, visual arts, comedy & literature in Glasgow's City Centre. Our events programme creates a mesmerizing, nine day extravaganza.
  • Glasgow Craft Beer Festival - What can you expect? Well, banging beers from the best breweries from Scotland and beyond. We’ll be fixing up a feast with our fair city’s finest independent kitchens and culinary talent, and making sure everyone is having a party with a curated line-up of headliner DJ acts. Beyond beer, we’ll have some select friends from across wine, cider and spirits.
  • Film & Comic Con Glasgow - Join us as Film & Comic Con Glasgow returns for a fun weekend where you can browse the many trader stalls, get those hard to find items, geek out and enjoy the cosplay, a must for all fans of pop culture!

  • Go Live! Glasgow - GO LIVE! Glasgow 2023 will be a fantastic multi-location programme of activity taking place across the full 11 days of the Championships from 3-13th August 2023. GO LIVE! is dedicated to celebrating and promoting healthy and active lifestyles across Sport, Culture and the Arts.
  • Sneaker and Lifestyle Festival - The festival, which is the first of its kind in Glasgow, will provide you with the opportunity to purchase hundreds of sneakers, streetwear items, collectibles and accessories from premium streetwear brands. An amazing variety of street food will be on offer, in addition to DJ's playing throughout the day.
  • Barrowfield Festival - Three days of fun packed events for all the family, including performances, wellbeing and sporting activities. A chance to play, socialise and enjoy some good old fashioned singing and dancing, ending on a high with our community gala day, featuring Big Angie, and Robert and May Miller, amongst others!
  • Surge Festival - SURGE Festival 2023 invites you to cast aside all fear and embrace the celebration of your own existence. Join us as the streets of Glasgow become a playground for the extraordinary, where the ordinary is left behind, and the realm of imagination reigns supreme.
  • Dark Places - Dark Places: A Mini-Festival brought to you by The Filthy Tongues. The Filthy Tongues are taking over Renfield Lane curating their own special Festival lineup with performances in Stereo & Old Hairdressers.
  • SCAP Summer Festival - Seahorse creative arts and publishing aims to encourage participation in learning and engagement in a wide range of cultural activities in Scotland.
  • Foodies Festival - Join us at Rouken Glen Park for Glasgow Foodies Festival 2023 – our biggest celebration yet of top chefs, tasty food, delicious drinks and live music. Watch MasterChef Champions, Michelin-starred and top local chefs cooking their signature summer recipes in the La Española Chefs Theatre.
  • Govanhill International Festival and Carnival - We're thrilled to bring you a programme of events fusing together art, heritage and community activism.
