The Stand Comedy Club opened for business on the 14th April 2000. Open approximately 7:30pm to midnight (although staff usually clear the venue by 11pm on weeknights) with shows 7 nights a week.

Up until mid 2003, The Stand was only open Wednesday to Sunday.
