The St. Enoch Hotel

Also known as The St. Enoch Station Hotel. Opened in 1879 on St. Enoch Square on the ground now occupied by the St. Enoch Shopping Centre. With over 200 bedrooms it was one of the city's largest hotels.

It was closed in April 1974 after failing to comply with new fire regulations and was demolished in 1976. The site was used as a car park until 1985 when work on the centre begun.

There is a hotel named The St. Enoch Hotel currently in the St. Enoch Square.
