The Rooftops

Was located at 92 Sauchiehall Street, G2 3DE.

Now known as The Moon.

Rooftops used to be Night Moves, changed its name between 1986-1988. When it became Rooftops, the name ROOFTOPS was spelt out in the 3rd floor windows and can still be seen today in the windows across the top of the building. It was used in the 80s for a lot of gigs and amongst bands that played there included an early Sonic Youth performance.
