Nightclub opened late in 1995 at 9 Brown Street, replacing The Cathouse (which moved to Union Street earlier that year).

It was a popular rock venue spanning three floors with thrash and industrial nights on Thursdays, goth night, The Batcave, on Fridays and mainstream rock nights Saturday and Sunday. It also experimented with quiz evenings and line dancing lessons on Monday nights. It closed circa 1998.

The building was previously home to Hollywood Studios.
