Previously know as The Hogshead. Purchased by Greene King in August 2004 and renamed The Primary.
Open noon - midnight 7 days (open 12:30pm on Sundays). Food served until 8pm every day.
Pool table, £1.20/play. Large screen televisions (8ft projection screen, and multiple plasma screens) show all pay per view matches & major sporting fixtures.

| Beer garden: Plenty of seating outdoors in a paved enclosure (what used to be the playground of the old school). They have recently errected a large glass roof over part of playground near the entrance to the pub. |
