Closed in July 2007 but reopened under new ownership in November 2007.
The venue next door (they are connected internally too) is called The Halt Two and is where they host their open stage and band nights.

- Monday night is Quiz Night from 9pm.
- Wednesday night is acoustic open mic with Wee Dave & Dave Dixon (the Needles)
- Thursday night is 'Bazodee' a great eveing of Reggae, Soca, & Dancehall music
- Friday nights are bands &/or DJ's (The last friday of the month is a regular techno night called 'no future disco')
- Saturday night is the Halt Bar Hijack! nights where they stage some of the best new bands from around Glasgow and Scotland
- The last sunday of the month is the Woodlands Creatures night where some of the best acoustic, psychedelic, folkyness takes over the back bar
