The entire second floor is a family area, with the back room downstairs also allowing access to children. This room can be hired out for functions. Sports are shown on the big screen. Food is served till 11pm every night. Drinks promotions are run on Mondays (excluding bank holidays) with the "Monday Club".

As well as the beer and burger offer for £4.25, or the two meals for £7.49 available all day every day, Wetherspoons runs various food promotions during the week. Tuesday is Grill Night, with a choice of steaks available for £6.49, including a drink. Thursday is Curry Club, with a choice of curries available for £5.99 including a drink, and Sundays is Sunday Club, with a choice of roasts for £6.99 including a drink.
Monday sees the Monday Club (not on bank holiday mondays), with a select range of drinks on special offer, while on Wednesdays is the new "Wine and Ale Wednesdays" with money off various wines and ales all day.

Originally designed as a "Gardener's Warehouse" for a cabinetmaker and upholsterer the was later occupied by furniture retailer, Martin and Frost.
Building design is based on the prefabricated-style construction of The Crystal Palace. Framework designed by R McConnell.
Features an old-style lift.
