Woodlands is a residential area in the west-end of Glasgow. It is to the east of Hillhead, and to the south of Maryhill. Kelvingrove Park borders Woodlands to the south of the area, the M8 Motorway is to the east.
The housing stock mostly consists of sandstone tenement housing.
Notable streets in Woodlands: Woodlands Road, Woodlands Drive.
There are prominent examples of community art displayed throughout Woodlands. During 1997 Impact Arts decorated 107 bollards with mosaic tiles based on designs by elderly residents and pupils from Woodlands Primary School.
