Dominated by The Gallery of Modern Art this central square, to the south west of George Square is bordered on the east by Queen Street and to the west by Buchanan Street.

It's eastern edge features a statue of the Duke of Wellington on his horse facing Ingram Street which dates from 1844. The statue of Wellington is regularly topped with a red roadcone on his head.
