Queen Street runs parallel between Buchanan Street and North Hanover Street from Queen Street Train Station (on George Street) past the western side of George Square down through St. Vincent Place, Ingram Street and into Argyle Street.

Opened 1777, is named for Queen Charlotte. It was formed on the property of a Mr. McCall. It was previously known as the Cow Lone.
