Bar Jedi

From Glasgow

Famous for it's Star Wars centric decor. The bar was shaped like Darth Vader's helmet and the door was bordered by two huge 'starship' engines. Featured three large projection screens with games consoles plus a small enclosed beer garden at ground level.

Originally occupied by The Link Cafe.

Even when the bar became The Halcyon Bar (circa 2002) the exterior decor didn't change. It wasn't until November 2005 that the steel engine facade was removed and a wooden enclosure erected as it undergoes refurbishment.

A new bar opened in the premises in December 2005, Chinaski's.
